Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our engineering team across the United Kingdom. You will contribute to high-reliability systems, spanning FPGA design, architecture and verification, in a multi-disciplinary environment.

The role involves working on technically complex projects at multiple sites such as Manchester, Stevenage and Oxford, with emphasis on VHDL and SystemVerilog skills and a strong background in high-speed digital design.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in FPGA Engineering
  • High-speed digital experience
  • Background in FPGA Design and Verification, ideally within Space or another high-reliability sector
  • Experience with VHDL and SystemVerilog

Responsibilities

  • Support development of high-reliability systems and deliver projects to a high standard
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across FPGA design, architecture and verification
  • Contribute to technically complex projects across multiple sites (Manchester, Stevenage, Oxford)

Job description

A global engineering company are hiring for a FPGA Engineer to join their growing team in across UK.

This role is purely down to some new exciting projects coming to the business and is a great time to get involved.

They're looking for an experienced FPGA Engineer to support the development of high-reliability systems and deliver projects to a high standard. You'll be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team across FPGA design, architecture and verification, with the opportunity to work on some technically complex projects.

Due to there being multiple sites, candidates will be considered at different locations such as Manchester, Stevenage, Oxford.

FPGA Engineer Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience in an FPGA Engineering role (ideally)
  • High speed digital
  • Background in FPGA Design and Verification, ideally within Space or another high-reliability sector
  • Experience with VHDL and SystemVerilog
  • Knowledge of high-reliability design and analysis is desirable
