Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer for a client offering relocation support to successful candidates. You will contribute to the development of advanced FPGA platforms and work across multiple projects.

The role requires 4–5 days onsite per week, with flexibility for compressed hours or part-time work. Relocation packages and benefits include annual bonus, pension contributions, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

The FPGA Design Teams are expanding, creating exciting opportunities to work on a broad range of projects including:

• Advanced image and radio signal‑processing systems

You’ll be involved in every stage of the FPGA lifecycle, from initial requirements to validated design, while working with the latest technologies from leading FPGA vendors.

What They are looking for...

You ideally have a relevant degree (or equivalent experience) and skills in most of the following:

• Designing complex FPGA architectures using VHDL, Simulink, etc.
• Targeting Xilinx, Intel, and Microsemi devices
• Verifying FPGA designs with VHDL & SystemVerilog/UVM
• Experience with FPGA toolsets and Mentor tools (QuestaSim/ModelSim)
• Generating low‑level C software for test and integration
• Confident documenting and configuring designs to a high standard
