Job summary

MCS Group partners with a global technology and manufacturing organisation to recruit an FP&A Analyst for its finance team in Belfast. You will provide analysis and reporting to support senior leadership decisions, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting.

This role offers hybrid working with three days in the office, the chance to influence finance across a global tech and manufacturing group, and a structured path in corporate finance analytics.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience.
• Strong FP&A experience and technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent IT and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review income statement, balance sheet and cash flow results.
• Consolidate monthly forecasts, budgets and long-range plans.
• Prepare management reporting for senior leadership.
• Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, and working capital performance.
• Improve reporting processes through automation and KPI tracking.
• Support ad hoc analysis as needed.

The Role:

As the successful FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Review & analyse income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement results;
• Consolidating monthly forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans;
• Preparing management reporting and analysis for senior leadership;
• Analysing revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow and working capital performance;
• Improving reporting processes through automation, dashboards and KPI tracking;

The Person:

The successful FP&A Analyst will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience;
• Strong technical accounting or FP&A experience;
• Strong IT & advanced excel skills;
