Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a global technology and manufacturing organisation to recruit an FP&A Analyst for its Belfast finance team. This is a highly visible role within corporate finance, focused on accurate financial analysis and robust reporting to support senior leadership decisions.

The role combines consolidation of forecasts, budgets and long-range plans with initiatives to automate reporting, build dashboards and KPI tracking, and to drive improvements across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience.
• Strong technical accounting or FP&A experience.
• Strong IT & advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review & analyse income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement results.
• Consolidating monthly forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans.
• Preparing management reporting and analysis for senior leadership.
• Analysing revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow and working capital performance.
• Improving reporting processes through automation, dashboards and KPI tracking.

The Rewards:

As the successful FP&A Analyst, you will receive:

• £50,000-£60,000 base salary + extensive benefits;
• Annual bonus (10%);
• Hybrid/flexible working (3 days office based);

The Role:

As the successful FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Review & analyse income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement results;
• Consolidating monthly forecasts, annual budgets and long-range plans;
• Preparing management reporting and analysis for senior leadership;
• Analysing revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow and working capital performance;
• Improving reporting processes through automation, dashboards and KPI tracking;

The Person:
