Job summary
Bristol Waste Company is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join on a 6 month fixed term contract, based at Albert Road, Bristol. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business partnering to drive planning and commercial decisions across the Waste & FM services.

- Advanced Excel capability and data transformation
- Analytical and problem solving with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical analysis to senior stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting process and reforecasts for Waste & FM services
- Review monthly management reporting and explain drivers
- Act as a business partner to operational teams
- Translate data into insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain model governance with version control and documentation
- Collaborate with Finance, Data & Reporting, Operations and council
- Monitor performance and update models for changing conditions
- Produce valuation models, scenario analyses, business cases and KPI dashboards
- Support decision making with high quality analytical insight
