Job summary

Marc Daniels in the Heathrow area is seeking a commercially focused Finance Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is office-based five days per week, offering exposure to senior leadership and involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives.

Reporting into FP&A, you will develop forecasts, review Capex/Opex business cases, and perform performance analysis to influence commercial decisions. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or strong finalist.
• Experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial Finance role.
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Query advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Delivering weekly and monthly volume, revenue and performance forecasting.
• Supporting annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes.
• Reviewing Capex and Opex business cases and tracking realised benefits.
• Analysing financial and operational performance against budget and forecast.
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support commercial decision-making.
• Monitoring cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives across the business.
• Producing headcount and workforce planning models.
• Partnering with procurement and operational teams to assess commercial impacts.
• Supporting cashflow forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Improving financial processes, controls and reporting capabilities.
• Assisting senior finance leadership on ad hoc strategic projects.

Finance Analyst (6-Month FTC)

Heathrow Area | Office-Based (5 Days Per Week) £45,000 - £50,000 Pro Rata

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join a well-established business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a newly created role that offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to contribute to key strategic and commercial initiatives.

Reporting into the FP&A Manager, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business case evaluation and performance analysis. This position is ideally suited to a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders, driving improvements and using data to influence decision-making.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or a strong finalist
• Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial Finance role
• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Power BI, Power Query or finance systems would be advantageous
• Keen interest in systems, automation and process improvement
