Job summary

Marc Daniels in the Heathrow area is seeking a commercially focused Finance Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is office-based five days per week, offering exposure to senior leadership and involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives.

Reporting into FP&A, you will develop forecasts, review Capex/Opex business cases, and perform performance analysis to influence commercial decisions. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are highly regarded.

Qualifications

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or strong finalist.
Experience in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial Finance role.
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
Experience with Power BI and Power Query advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Delivering weekly and monthly volume, revenue and performance forecasting.
Supporting annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting processes.
Reviewing Capex and Opex business cases and tracking realised benefits.
Analysing financial and operational performance against budget and forecast.
Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support commercial decision-making.
Monitoring cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives across the business.
Producing headcount and workforce planning models.
Partnering with procurement and operational teams to assess commercial impacts.
Supporting cashflow forecasting and scenario analysis.
Improving financial processes, controls and reporting capabilities.
Assisting senior finance leadership on ad hoc strategic projects.
