Job summary

Sheffield Forgemasters Engineering Ltd invites applications for a Maintenance Engineer in our Foundry team at the Sheffield site. The role covers maintaining plant equipment, tools and facilities to maximise production availability, performing preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance, and using the Spidex CMMS to document work.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan tasks, mentor colleagues, and uphold health, safety and quality standards in a heavy manufacturing

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship completed with multi-skilled maintenance focus.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment and facilities breakdowns and corrective actions.
• Perform planned, preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Maintain documentation via Spidex CMMS.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on planning of maintenance work.
• Assist in achieving operational targets and schedules.
• Ensure PM activities follow instructions with corrective actions.
• Implement root-cause analysis actions.
• Uphold health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Mentor and support team members.
