Job summary
Delphi Care Solutions is seeking a Founding Registered Children’s Home Manager to launch a brand-new specialist residential service in Bicester, Oxfordshire. You will lead from registration through operation, shaping a service for children with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs, working with sector experts to achieve outstanding outcomes.
The role offers relocation support, a competitive salary (£52,000 - £58,000) plus a performance bonus, 28 days leave, and ongoing professional
Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is essential.
- Experience within children's residential care is required.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
- Experience supporting children with autism, learning disabilities or complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Ofsted registration process.
- Develop and implement the Statement of Purpose.
- Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing care team.
- Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Promote a positive and nurturing culture within the home.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and risk management.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and professionals.
- Oversee care planning, staffing, budgets and home performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance.
