Job summary

Delphi Care Solutions is partnering with a growing children's care provider to recruit a Founding Registered Children's Home Manager for a brand-new specialist residential service in Bicester, Oxfordshire. Lead the launch, registration and operation of the home, ensuring high standards of care and safeguarding.

The role offers £52,000-£58,000 with a performance bonus and relocation support; 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (Essential).
• Experience within children's residential care.
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.
• Experience supporting children with autism, learning disabilities or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ofsted registration process.
• Develop and implement the Statement of Purpose.
• Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing care team.
• Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Promote a positive and nurturing culture within the home.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and risk management.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and professionals.
• Oversee care planning, staffing, budgets and home performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance.
