Job summary

Broaden Management Partners is seeking a Founding Engineer to architect the AI infrastructure, data ingestion pipelines, and autonomous workflows from the ground up in a fast-moving biopharma AI startup.

You will build end-to-end systems across Python, PostgreSQL, and frontend interfaces, collaborate with founders, and ensure security and traceability across the platform, with founding equity on offer.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on software engineering in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, TypeScript/Next.js/React, and AWS.
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval systems, and AI agents in production.
• Top academic credentials or standout technical contributions.
• Early-stage startup experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale data pipelines ingesting global biopharma data.
• Design agentic workflows, inference pipelines, and extraction with Pydantic AI.
• Develop end-to-end stacks from PostgreSQL schemas to Next.js/React frontends.
• Collaborate with founders to translate client requirements into features.
• Maintain SOC 2–aligned AWS cloud architecture with RBAC and data isolation.
