Job summary

TEC Partnership, one of England's largest providers of further and higher education, seeks a Foundation Lecturer for Beverley campus. You will deliver inclusive sessions to learners with differing needs, including SEN, focusing on employability, citizenship and independent living skills.

The role involves planning adaptive lessons and fostering progress through personalised learning approaches. You will collaborate with a dedicated Foundation team, support carers and families, and contribute to

Qualifications

Experience teaching learners with SEN and differing needs.
Expertise in adaptive and inclusive teaching and assessing.
Plan lessons around identified needs to support progress and independence.
Develop work-ready, independent living and positive behaviours.
Parental and carer engagement is key in this area.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Foundation lessons to Entry 3 Independent Living Skills, Pre-Supported and Supported Internships, and Level 1 Progression programmes.
Provide employability skills, citizenship and customer service skills sessions, work-related activity and group tutorials.
Deliver practical sessions such as gardening or crafts when appropriate.
Plan and assess learning using personalised approaches to support individual learners.
