Qualifications

• Holds a relevant degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience teaching or supporting learners with additional needs (SEND/Foundation Learning).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about learner success and inclusive education.
• Has or is willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong organisational and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Foundation Learning programmes.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet a variety of learner needs and abilities.
• Support students in developing employability, personal, social and independent living skills.
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely feedback and support.
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, parents/carers, and external agencies where appropriate.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.
