Job summary

Kingston College seeks a Lecturer to support Foundation Learning students, providing tutorial and pastoral support to learners with SEND while monitoring work experience activities.

You will design innovative teaching, learning and assessment strategies, embed Maths and English, and develop vocational curricula with CPD and progression focus.

You will hold or work towards a recognised teaching qualification, with strong collaborative and inclusive teaching approaches to improve learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Provide tutorial and pastoral support to groups of learners with learning disabilities and/or difficulties.
• Design and deliver learning support materials, methods and activities for all learners, including those re-engaging with education.
• Deliver teaching and assessment within your area of specialism, including Maths and English to SEND learners at the appropriate level.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, coordinate and supervise practical work, events and assessment projects, guiding learners on techniques.
• Embed Maths, English, employability and life skills into teaching and progression pathways.
