Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley, UK, offers a year-in-industry placement in the Planning and Programme Department from end of June 2027 to end of July 2028. You will work across Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and Finance to improve planning, automation and reporting, gaining hands-on experience in a high-performance Formula One environment.

Qualifications

• Must be studying towards a degree in Engineering Management, Business Engineering, Manufacturing or Data Science or related discipline.
• Placement year must be part of degree programme and at least one year remaining after placement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of engineering test programmes across multiple departments.
• Develop dashboards, reports and planning tools to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Analyse data to identify risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and Planning to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and performance metrics; support reviews and communications.
• Assist Cost Analysis and other departments with cost cap activities and FIA reporting.
