Job summary

Mercedes‑AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley offers a year-in-industry placement within the Planning and Programme Department. You will work across the Test Operations function to support test planning, data analysis and automation initiatives.

The role focuses on developing dashboards, reports and tools, collaborating with Engineering, Design and Finance to improve programme delivery in a fast-paced Formula One environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering Management, Business Engineering, Manufacturing, Data Science or related field.
• Must be undertaking a placement year as part of the degree programme.
• Must have at least one year of study remaining after the placement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of engineering test programmes across multiple departments.
• Develop dashboards, reports, planning tools and automation to improve visibility and efficiency.
• Analyse programme data to identify risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Planning and Test teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers and performance metrics.
