Job summary

Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team in Brackley, UK, offers a year-in-industry placement in the Engineering Software Department. You will work on the off-car software stack, simulators, and R&D facilities, gaining hands-on experience in Formula One.

You will collaborate across the team, learn deployment and real-time data production processes, and contribute to high-performance decision-making. A strong CS focus and motorsport interest are valued.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a strong CS related degree.
• Awareness of .NET and Python.
• Awareness of DevOps and deployment processes.
• Passion for learning and motorsport is a plus.
• Must have at least one year remaining on course from placement start.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, deployment and support of off-car software stack.
• Support simulators, R&D facilities and race car data workflows.
• Interface with stakeholders and plan work with wider team.
