Job summary

Williams F1 Team is offering a 12-month Industrial Placement for ambitious students in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering. You will work on composites design, drawings and laminates, gaining hands-on exposure to real race-car projects within a high-performance team.

You will contribute to research and development, collaborate with manufacturing and test teams, and progress from day one with meaningful responsibilities while returning to university with valuable industry experience.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or a related engineering discipline
• Some understanding of composites materials and manufacturing processes
• CAD skills; NX experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering engineering designs, drawings and laminates to defined standards and procedures
• Support cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, prototype and test teams
• Take the initiative on faults and manufacturing queries, putting teamwork into practice as you help improve processes
• Contribute to research and development that drives innovation in composite design.
