Job summary

Red Bull Technology is offering an undergraduate placement in its Composite Design department at our Milton Keynes campus. The year-long placement starts summer 2027 and provides hands-on experience across design, tooling, and documentation for composite components used in F1.

Applicants should be studying mechanical or aeronautical engineering, be computer literate, and plan to return to higher education for at least one year after the placement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree and returning to education after the placement.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work hands-on with projects.
• Active interest in Composite Design and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an organised and methodical approach to work.
• Cover all aspects of Composite Design from concept to tooling and documentation.
• Assist with material selection, laminate design and structural sign-off.
• Present ideas clearly and contribute to R&D activities.
• Be adaptable to changing priorities and requirements.
