Job summary

EGGER UK in Hexham is seeking motivated Warehouse Shipping Specialists (WHM) to help move products safely and efficiently through our distribution operations. This hands-on role involves checking loads, loading and unloading vehicles, and adhering to safety, health, and quality procedures.

You’ll join a supportive team with full training and opportunities to develop in warehouse operations. The position offers a double day shift (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00) on a weekly rotation, with an

Qualifications

Proactive attitude and openness to learning new skills.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work responsibly.
Basic IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Forklift Truck Licence (or willingness to train where possible).
May have operated HGV or heavy mobile plant previously.

Responsibilities

Working as part of a supportive team to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Checking loads against documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
Loading and unloading vehicles safely (full training provided).
Handling products carefully to avoid damage and maintain high standards.
Following health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
Identifying and reporting hazards, issues, or discrepancies.
Communicating with supervisors to resolve operational challenges.
