Job summary
Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced FLT operative to support our manufacturing site logistics. You will work in the waste yard transporting materials and operating a Counterbalance FLT and Teletruk, under the Pinnacle Workplace Industrial Team in the Cheadle area.
The role is permanent, full-time, on a day shift from Monday to Thursday 7am–4pm and Friday 7am–12noon, with an immediate start. We value reliability, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Tele-truck J5 and Counterbalance licences (Essential)
- Accredited Counterbalance forklift operating licence from RTITB
- Experience operating forklifts, HGVs or other industrial machinery in warehouse or construction
- Commitment to customer service with good communication
- Good knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative
- Experience working to tight schedules
- Enthusiastic and committed
Responsibilities
- Unload deliveries that come to site for Pinnacle
- Ensure FLT pre-use checks are completed and logged
- Adhere to work schedule and attendance policy
- Plant operations clean-up as required
- Empty waste from inside the factory and take it to the waste yard
- Replenish stock around site
- Attend AD-HOC requests in a timely manner
