Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced FLT Operative at our manufacturing site in Cheadle (ST10). You will join the Pinnacle Workplace Specialist Industrial Team, handling counterbalance and Teletruk duties in the waste yard and factory areas, with a focus on reliability, safety and accuracy.

This is a permanent, full‑time, day shift role, Monday to Thursday 7am–4pm and Friday 7am–12noon, with an immediate start for candidates who value teamwork, customer service and delivering excellence.

Qualifications

• Tele-truck J5 and Counterbalance licences are essential.
• Experience operating forklifts in warehouses or construction sites.
• Commitment to customer service, safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries to Pinnacle site.
• Complete and log FLT pre-use checks.
• Follow work schedule and attendance policy.
• Clean up plant operations as required.
• Move waste to the waste yard.
• Replenish stock around site.
• Attend ad-hoc requests promptly.

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced FLT (Counter Balance & Teletruk) Operative to support the main logistical operations for our manufacturing site. You will be joining our Pinnacle Workplace Specialist Industrial Team based in Cheadle ST10.

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education and office environments.

Your role will be working in the waste yard, transporting metal, plastic and wood usinga Counterbalance FLT. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.

We are offering a Permanent Role - Full-Time Day Shift working Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm & Friday 7am – 12noon. With an Immediate start

Key responsibilities will include:

• Unload deliveries that come to site for Pinnacle
• Ensure FLT pre-use checks are completed and logged
• Adhere to work schedule and attendance policy
• Plant operations clean-up as required.
• Empty waste from inside the factory and take it to the waste yard
• Replenish stock around site
• Attend AD-HOC requests in a timely manner

Skills & Key Requirements

• Tele-truck J5 & Counterbalance B1 & B2 licence * Essential
• Accredited Counterbalance Forklift Operating licence from an industry-recognised body such as RTITB
• Experience working in a warehouse or on a construction site operating forklifts, heavy goods vehicles, or other industrial machinery
• Commitment to Customer Service with good communication skills
• Good knowledge and experience in warehouse health and safety requirements
• Ability to work as part of a team with other staff to coordinate the movement of goods, and able to use own initiative.
• Experience working to tight schedules.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment.
