Job summary

Pinnacle Group in Cheadle is seeking an experienced FLT (Counter Balance) Operator to support its main logistics operations. You will join the Workplace Specialist Industrial Cleaning Team and handle loading, unloading and site safety tasks in the waste yard.

The role is permanent, full-time with a day shift from Monday to Friday and early Friday finish. The ideal candidate holds an accredited Counterbalance forklift licence, at least two years’ warehouse or construction site experience,

Qualifications

• Accredited Counterbalance Forklift Operating licence from RTITB.
• Minimum of two years' experience operating forklifts in warehouse or construction setting.
• Good communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a team and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load outbound trucks according to pick sheets.
• Physically inspect products for quality.
• Position trucks in loading docks for efficient operations.
• Perform and log pre-use forklift checks.
• Keep floors clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Work schedule adherence and attendance.
• Additional warehousing duties as assigned.
