A leading supply chain company in Bedford is seeking individuals for logistics operations, focusing on booking goods, managing stock, and ensuring efficient order packing. Successful candidates will have a valid counterbalance and reach truck licenses, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a positive attitude. The role emphasizes teamwork and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The position hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Book in goods and materials.
• Store stock appropriately.
• Pick materials and pack orders.
• Drive forklift for deliveries.
• Manage stock queries and cycle counts.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Booking in of goods and materials
• Appropriately storing of stock
• Picking materials and packing orders
• Document control - Update and maintain all inbound and outbound records
• Forklift driving - loading & unloading of deliveries
• Participate in cycle counts and manage stock queries
• Identify stock that is in the wrong location and elevate as required to ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation

Key Skills/Experience

• Valid counterbalance license and reach truck licenses
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as a member of a small team
• Able to start work ASAP

Additional Info

Hours: 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
