Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for a major logistics operation in Foston. Immediate inductions and starts are available, with full-time hours and opportunities for progression.

You will load/unload trailers, handle stock, and perform quality checks using RF scanning devices. Applicants should have a valid Counterbalance forklift licence (expired licences may be considered) and warehouse experience, with the ability to work rotating or fixed shifts.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence required; expired licences may be considered.
• Warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Able to work rotating or fixed shifts.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

Forklift Driver – Counterbalance

Location: Foston

Job Type: Full-time

Start Date: Immediate starts available

Pay: £14.36 – £16.98 per hour, depending on shift pattern

We are currently recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a major logistics operation based in Foston.

We have immediate inductions and starts available, with regular, ongoing work and excellent opportunities for progression.

Current and expired forklift licences will be considered.

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your duties will include:

• Loading and unloading trailers safely and efficiently
• Moving and handling stock throughout the warehouse
• Conducting quality inspections
• Using RF scanning equipment
• Supporting stock control and rotation
• Following all warehouse health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

The successful candidate will have:

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence; expired licences may also be considered
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
• The flexibility to work rotating or fixed shifts
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• A strong work ethic and reliable approach to attendance
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Shift Patterns & Pay

3-Shift Rotation – £15.32 per hour

• Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am
• Afternoons: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Earlies: 6:00am – 2:00pm

Fixed Nights – £16.98 per hour

• 10:00pm – 6:00am

Fixed Early & Afternoon Shifts – £14.36 per hour

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
