Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team in the Marden area. You will safely operate an FLT, move pallets, load/unload vehicles, and assist with goods-in/out while keeping the site organized.

Applicants must hold a current FLT licence and be physically fit, with the ability to travel to TN12. Training is provided, with pay £14.50/hour during training and £15.75/hour once fully trained.

Forklift Driver

Location: Marden / Tonbridge, Kent - TN12 area

Shift: 12:00 midday - 12:00 midnight
Shift pattern: 5 days on / 2 days off OR 4 days on / 3 days off
Pay: £14.50 per hour during site training, increasing to £15.75 per hour once fully trained

We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team.

This is a hands-on warehouse position where you will be responsible for safely operating an FLT to move stock and pallets around the site, while also supporting the wider warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating an FLT to move pallets and products around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles using the FLT
• Moving incoming stock to the correct storage locations
• Loading and positioning pallets safely and efficiently
• Preparing stock and pallets for dispatch
• Moving completed orders ready for collection or delivery
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities
• Checking pallets and stock as they are received and moved
• Ensuring products are stored safely and correctly
• Carrying out pre-use checks on the FLT and reporting any issues
• Following all FLT operating procedures and site safety requirements
• Maintaining safe working practices around pedestrians and other warehouse equipment
• Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean, tidy and organised
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure stock is moved efficiently and accurately

Although FLT operation will be a key part of the position, this is a hands-on warehouse role, and you will be expected to assist with general warehouse duties when required.

FLT Licence Required

Candidates must hold a current, full and transferable FLT licence and have previous experience operating an FLT in a warehouse environment.

You will still be required to complete the company's site-specific training and assessment before operating independently.

Pay:

• £14.50 per hour during site training
• £15.75 per hour once fully trained

Own Transport Essential

Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive to work.

The site is in the TN12 area and is not accessible by public transport, particularly given the shift times.
