Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an experienced FLT Driver for a full-time role in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for moving and dispatching goods safely, maintaining high accuracy and adhering to health and safety standards.

The role operates 4am to 12pm, Monday to Friday, offering a reliable, ongoing schedule with opportunities for training and development within a supportive team. Immediate start possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Our client, a well-established warehousing and distribution business, is currently seeking an experienced

FLT Driver to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual looking to join a fast-paced operation with consistent hours and a supportive working environment.

As an FLT Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are moved, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and health and safety.

Hours - 4am till 12pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out activities, ensuring accurate handling and documentation of products.
• Using warehouse management systems to update stock movements and inventory records.
• Conducting routine pre-use checks on FLT equipment and reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Ensuring products are stored correctly and safely within designated warehouse locations.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, including stock organisation and housekeeping.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet operational targets and customer requirements.
• Following all company health and safety procedures at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid FLT licence with previous experience operating forklift trucks, ideally Counterbalance.
• Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse processes, stock control, and inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
• Basic IT and numerical skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
• Mechanical awareness and the ability to identify and report equipment issues.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-focused approach.
