Job summary

Marshall-tufflex Ltd at Castleham Site is seeking a full-time FLT Driver to load and unload lorries, operate a forklift, and organise stock to support efficient site operations.

You will work 45 hours weekly on rotating shifts (6am-3pm, 9am-6pm, 2pm-11pm) and join a team focused on safety, accuracy and tidy procedures.

Qualifications

• FLT licence is essential.
• At least 1 year’ experience in a similar logistics role.
• Experience with stock handling, packing and picking.
• Ability to operate computer-based stock systems.
• Commitment to maintaining clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload lorries safely and on time.
• Keep yard and warehouse tidy and organised.
• Label and document deliveries with correct paperwork.
• Pick, pack and prepare goods for delivery.
• Record stock movements and rotation in the system.

Job description

During an exciting time of expansion, w e have a new vacancy for a FLT Driver to join our team based at our Castleham Site to be responsible for safely loading and unloading lorries, operating a forklift to move goods, and organi s ing stock to ensure efficient site operations . This is a full-time permanent role working 45 hours per week , working a weekly rotating shift of 6am-3pm, 9am-6pm and 2pm- 11pm.

What are the main duties of this role?

• To maintain the highest level of housekeeping in the Yard and Warehouse ensuring that:
• The Yard area is always kept organised
• Vehicles are loaded / un-loaded, safely, correctly and on time.
• Products / deliveries are clearly marked and identified with the correct paperwork
• Products have been picked and packed accurately as appropriate.
• Stock management and rotation is completed in line with Company Policy
• Stock placement and movements are correctly recorded on the system

What we are looking for:

• Full valid FLT is required
• At least 1 years’ experience working in a similar role within a logistics environment
• Counterbalance licence is desirable but not essential
• Driving licence is desirable but not essential
• Ability to operate computer-based stock management systems
• Demonstrable knowledge of handling and packing materials safely, to agreed procedures and keeping the workplace clean and tidy following health and safety processes
• Ability to retain knowledge of extensive product range, to accurately interpret product order paperwork
• Experience of accurate picking, packing and loading and preparation of goods for delivery.
• A team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
