Responsibilities

• Move pallets and products around the warehouse using a powered pallet truck.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move incoming stock to correct storage locations.
• Prepare products and pallets for dispatch.
• Move completed orders for collection or delivery.
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out activities.
• Check stock and pallets as they are received and moved.
• Ensure products are stored safely and kept tidy and organized.
• Perform basic checks on warehouse equipment before use.
• Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
• Work as part of a team to move stock efficiently.
• Assist colleagues with general duties when required.

Warehouse Operative

Location: Marden / Tonbridge, Kent - TN12 area Shift: 12:00 midday - 12:00 midnight Shift pattern: 5 days on / 2 days off OR 4 days on / 3 days off Pay: £14.30 per hour during training, increasing to £15.13 per hour once fully trained

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse team.

This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse environment, supporting the movement, storage and preparation of products and ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving pallets and products around the warehouse using a powered pallet truck
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving incoming stock to the correct storage locations
• Preparing products and pallets for dispatch
• Moving completed orders ready for collection or delivery
• Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities
• Checking stock and pallets as they are received and moved
• Ensuring products are stored safely and correctly
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
• Keeping walkways and working areas clear and safe
• Carrying out basic checks on warehouse equipment before use
• Following company health & safety procedures at all times
• Working as part of a team to ensure stock is moved efficiently
• Supporting colleagues with general warehouse duties when required

This is an active and physical role, so candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Training & Development

Training will be provided to enable you to safely operate the relevant warehouse equipment.

Pay:

• £14.30 per hour during training
• £15.13 per hour once fully trained

Due to the location of the site, candidates must have their own transport and be able to drive to work.

The site is in the TN12 area and is not accessible by public transport, particularly given the shift times.
