Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking reliable FLT Counterbalance Drivers in the Gloucester area to support a busy logistics operation. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move products, and assist with warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm, with overtime available. The role offers weekly pay, pension contributions, online payslips, and pro-rata holiday entitlement for 2026.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift experience and licence where required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Physically fit for repetitive tasks and standing.

Responsibilities

• Using a Counterbalance forklift to move products
• Assembling packing cases, boxes to the approved standards - some use of hand tools required
• Assisting with the warehouse function - stacking shelves, labelling and updating stock systems
• Loading and unloading vehicles: raw materials and finished goods
• Adhering to Health & Safety processes and maintaining a clean and tidy work area

Pay Rates:

• £12.88 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Using a Counterbalance forklift to move products
• Assembling packing cases, boxes to the approved standards - some use of hand tools required
• Assisting with the warehouse function - stacking shelves, labelling and updating stock systems
• Loading and unloading vehicles: raw materials and finished goods
• Adhering to Health & Safety processes and maintaining a clean and tidy work area
