Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting reliable and dedicated FLT Counterbalance Drivers in the Gloucester area to support operations within a Logistics Company.

Shift pattern runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm with overtime based on production needs. Benefits include weekly pay, 28 days leave (pro-rated), pension contribution, online payslips, and flexible shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for long periods.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift to move products.
• Assemble packing cases and boxes using standard methods; hand tools may be required.
• Assist with warehouse tasks: stacking shelves, labeling, updating stock systems.
• Load and unload vehicles including raw materials and finished goods.
• Follow Health & Safety processes and keep the work area clean and organized.

• £12.88 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Using a Counterbalance forklift to move products
• Assembling packing cases, boxes to the approved standards - some use of hand tools required
• Assisting with the warehouse function - stacking shelves, labelling and updating stock systems
• Loading and unloading vehicles: raw materials and finished goods
• Adhering to Health & Safety processes and maintaining a clean and tidy work area

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit for repetitive tasks and standing

Shift Pattern:

• Monday - Friday
• 6am - 4pm
• Overtime is available based on production requirements
