Riverside, based at the Penrith site, is hiring a Fork Lift Truck Operator to support production during a period of investment. The role is full-time and permanent, with rotating three‑week shifts and a salary of up to £15.59 per hour (£32,427 per annum).

You will operate FLT safely, load/unload materials, move stock, and assist in maintaining safe yard and warehouse operations. A current counterbalance licence is required and prior FLT experience is expected.

Based at the Penrith site of a global manufacturing business, this Fork Lift Truck Operator role supports production during a period of significant investment. Working rotating shifts across a three-week pattern, the successful candidate handles movement of materials and finished goods, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining safe yard and warehouse operations. Applicants should hold a current counterbalance licence and bring proven experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting. The position is full time and permanent, with a salary between £29,500 and £32,427 per annum, equivalent to an hourly rate of up to £15.59. We're recruiting an FLT Driver to join a well-established, global manufacturing business at its Penrith site during an exciting period of investment, development and growth. With significant investment in new production lines, technology and manufacturing processes, the site is increasing capacity and continuing to develop its operation. This position operates on a three-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1: Mornings – 6am to 2pm
Week 2: Backs – 2pm to 10pm
Week 3: Nights – 10pm to 6am The pattern then repeats. You must be able to work ALL THREE shifts. The shift pattern is non-negotiable.

Earn up to £15.59 per hour – equivalent to £32,427 per annum based on the highest shift rate and a 40‑hour week.

What will you be doing?

Working within a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment, you'll play an important role in keeping materials and production moving safely and efficiently.

Previous FLT experience is required and, ideally, you'll hold a current, in-date RTITB-accredited FLT licence. You'll also need to be:

• Confident operating an FLT within a busy environment

• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
• Flexible and willing to support other areas of the operation
• Positive, practical and willing to learn
