We are working with a SEN school in Tiverton seeking a full-time, experienced Forest Leader to join their team. Relevant outdoor education / forest school qualifications are required.

Responsibilities:

• Guide students along their educational journey.
• Utilize strategies to address the needs of each student.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to develop support plans.
• Foster a positive atmosphere to enhance social and communication skills.
• Implement interventions and participate in activities supporting academic progress.

Requirements:

• Relevant Forest School and Outdoor Education TA experience and qualifications.
• Effective communication skills.
• UK driving license and own car (preferred).
• Traits: compassion, patience, empathy.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Commitment to student well-being and success.

To work with GSL Education, you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
