Job Title: Forest School Teaching Assistant

We are working with a SEN school in Tiverton seeking a full-time, experienced Forest Leader to join their team. Candidates must have relevant outdoor education / forest school qualifications to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Guide students along their educational journey.
• Utilise various strategies to address the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to develop support plans.
• Cultivate a positive atmosphere to enhance social and communication skills.
• Implement interventions and participate in activities to support academic progress.

Requirements:

• Relevant Forest School and Outdoor Education TA experience and qualifications.
• Effective communication skills.
• UK driving license and own car (preferred).
• Traits such as compassion, patience, and empathy.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• A strong commitment to student success and well-being.
