Job summary

Forestry England is seeking an Establishment Forest Works Supervisor to join our team. The role supports beat teams across the district in ground preparation, restocking, and establishing future tree crops.

You will supervise tractors and contractor resources, manage planting contracts, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards within set timeframes. Two work locations are available: Sherwood Pines and Cannock Chase.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating beat teams and supervising establishment contractors.
• Ability to work to health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with beat teams to deliver ground prep, restocking and establishment of future tree crops across the district.
• Supervise establishment tractors and contractors during planting and establishment contracts as required.
• Ensure works meet health & safety and quality standards and are completed within deadlines.
