Westonbirt Arboretum - Forestry England is recruiting for an Establishment Forest Works Supervisor. The role supports district-wide tree crop establishment, coordinates beat teams, and supervises tractors and contractor resources to ensure timely delivery.
You will work to high safety and quality standards, managing planting contracts and coordinating across teams. The position is based at two potential sites, with a permanent, full-time arrangement and a 37-hour week.

Along with the Establishment Forester your role will be to support the geographical beat teams to deliver ground prep, restocking and establishment of our future tree crops across the district.
You will be responsible for coordinating with the beat teams, supervising the establishment tractors and contractors resource, supervising planting and establishment contracts as required.
You will be expected to complete works to a high health & safety and quality standard, ensuring targets are met within a given time frame. You should be able to work closely within a team to solve problems and manage challenges that may arise throughout the process. You will be self-motivated and be able to work on your own when required.
