Forestry England is seeking an Establishment Forest Works Supervisor to join our team. The role supports beat teams across the district in ground preparation, restocking, and establishing future tree crops.
You will supervise tractors and contractor resources, manage planting contracts, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards within set timeframes. Two work locations are available: Sherwood Pines and Cannock Chase.

Along with the Establishment Forester your role will be to support the geographical beat teams to deliver ground prep, restocking and establishment of our future tree crops across the district. You will be responsible for coordinating with the beat teams, supervising the establishment tractors and contractors resource, supervising planting and establishment contracts as required. You will be expected to complete works to a high health & safety and quality standard, ensuring targets are met within a given time frame. You should be able to work closely within a team to solve problems and manage challenges that may arise throughout the process. You will be self-motivated and be able to work on your own when required. Please see the job description below for more information and details about what we need from you.
