Job description

Foreman- A59:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Foreman to join our team on the prestigious A59 Kex Gill road realignment project near Skipton. This is a critical role on a major highways scheme to deliver a new, resilient 4km bypass, safeguarding this vital east-west connection for years to come.

We can pay Outside IR35

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of direct and subcontracted labour on site.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the project's health, safety, and environmental plans.
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of the works.
• Monitor progress and report to the Site Manager.
• Manage the use of plant and equipment effectively.
• Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality.
• Maintain accurate site records.

Requirements:

• CSCS Card (Gold/Black)
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
• First Aid at Work (3-day)
• National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS) / Highways England Passport
• Proven experience as a Foreman on major highways projects, including new road construction and realignment schemes.
