Job Description

We are looking for an Area Sales Engineer to cover the UK Western Region, M6 & M4 corridor. This is a home-based role requiring regular travel within the territory, with occasional overnight stays.

As an Area Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Promote and sell connectors (industrial), products across various industries:
  • Manage both direct sales and specialist distributor relationships
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets
  • Support and grow existing customer accounts
  • Work on projects from specification through to sales conversion
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage cross-territory projects efficiently
  • Use our CRM system to log activities and plan sales strategies
  • Report weekly to the Country Sales Manager, UK & Ireland

The Successful Applicant



The Area Sales Engineer will have:

  • Track record in B2B industrial sales, preferably within manufactured industrial product.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of working with any of the following coupled with distribution - end-users.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to manage relationships, identify opportunities, and close deals
  • CRM Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM tools for planning and reporting
  • Personal Attributes: Motivated, customer-focused, proactive, reliable, and patient
