Company Overview:

Our client is a large multidisciplinary design consultancy without offices across the UK. They work on major energy and power frameworks, supporting expanding teams. Currently, they seek experienced Revit technicians to support the Energy and Power networks team, providing high-end technical support for companies like National Grid, SSE, and UKPN on large infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Revit Technician with energy & power or heavy industrial experience to join a supportive team, developing Revit models and CAD drawings throughout all design stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
• Prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design info
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, clients, and colleagues to achieve multidisciplinary outcomes
• Utilize BIM technologies in cloud and managed systems for key project stages
• Manage drafting aspects of projects, promoting collaboration

Key Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Revit, especially in structural and civil projects within energy, power, or heavy industrial sectors
• Experience producing drawings/models for energy and power projects (e.g., substations, switching stations, hubs) or heavy industrial projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and collaborative information management software
• Experience with digital platforms like BIM360 (training provided)
• Reliable remote work setup and environment
• HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (preferred)
