Job summary

Relay, a leading logistics innovator, is seeking a Lead Data Analyst for the Network squad. You will own analytical oversight across forecasting systems, track model performance, and surface issues before they affect operations.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists to ensure models stay reliable while setting standards for the squad. You’ll work with Sortation, Middle Mile, Last Mile, Routing, and Finance to understand where forecasts succeed and where they miss, serving as the first line

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role.
• Fluent in SQL and experienced with dbt/BigQuery.
• Ability to build and maintain analytical dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Track forecast accuracy across all Network models (demand, shift planning, dimensions, BPP).
• Surface model drift and performance issues before they impact operations.
• Diagnose forecast errors by client, geography, day of week, and horizon; quantify CPP impact.
• Build dashboards that communicate model performance to the squad and stakeholders.
• Define metrics and analytical direction for the Network squad; collaborate with Data Scientists on model improvements.
• Monitor capacity vs. demand across Sortation, Middle Mile, Last Mile; track shift release effectiveness.
• Translate model performance into actionable business impact for stakeholders.
