A leading hospital in London is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Foot and Ankle Surgery. The role involves managing surgical services, conducting research, and providing senior trainee cover. Candidates must possess a medical degree, MRCS, and relevant experience. This position is expected to start in October 2025, with applications for 2026 onwards welcome.
The post holder will work under the supervision of Prof. Venu Kavarthapu, Mr. Ahluwalia, Miss Reichert, and Mr. Thomas Hester. They will provide senior trainee cover for foot and ankle as well as diabetic foot surgical services. The role includes gaining exposure to a wide spectrum of elective and complex foot and ankle trauma cases. The post holder will coordinate the diabetic foot multidisciplinary orthopaedic emergency and elective services. They will lead monthly research meetings and contribute to the agenda. Past fellows have presented research at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed Foot & Ankle Journals.
The fellow will be part of the senior trainee on-call cover, shared with 6 other Elective and 5 Trauma Senior Clinical Fellows.
