Job description

Business Development Manager – Orthopaedics

Territory: South Central

Package:

  • Basic salary depending on experience - up to £55k
  • Very realistic Commission Scheme (uncapped) - OTE 24K, top earners over 40K!
  • Extremely good car allowance
  • Pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

Outline:

The role involves selling orthopaedic products, including limb reconstruction and fracture management solutions. Key products include circular fixation, external fixation systems for trauma, limb lengthening nails, revision arthroplasty, and foot and ankle products. These products are considered best in class!

The Role:

  • Covering the South Central region, taking over a well-managed territory with significant growth potential
  • Utilising clinical specialists and impactful presentations or trials to win new business and convert competitors
  • Working with a range of solutions that benefit clinical staff and ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Engaging with KOLs across NHS and private healthcare sectors, acquiring new clients and maintaining existing relationships
  • Initial comprehensive training provided, with ongoing career development opportunities

The Ideal Person:

  • Candidates with backgrounds as Physician Associates, Orthopaedic Clinical Specialists, or Physiotherapists demonstrating business acumen and willingness to learn are considered
  • Preferably, candidates will have a medical devices sales background with at least 2+ years of orthopaedics experience
  • Outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills are essential
  • Applicants must reside on the patch or be willing to relocate
  • A full UK driving license is mandatory
  • Right to work in the UK is required; no sponsorship available
