Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to support secondary schools and academies across Chesterfield. You will deliver engaging lessons at KS3 and KS4 and foster a safe workshop environment.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, proven DT/FT teaching experience in a UK secondary setting, strong classroom management, and a willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS. Competitive daily pay and flexible booking system are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Design Technology or Food Technology in a UK secondary setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student safety in workshop environments.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
