Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Secondary Food and DT Technician to join an Outstanding school in Chesterfield with an immediate start. You will support teachers in delivering practical DT and Food lessons, preparing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety and stock control.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and a commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and clear away equipment and materials for practical Food and DT lessons.
• Maintain equipment and ensure resources are organised and readily available.
• Support the safe and effective delivery of practical activities in DT and Food.
• Monitor stock levels and order equipment and consumables as required.
