Our Food Stores and Leadership Role

Our food stores and their teams are at the heart of many local communities. Every great team needs dependable leadership. As a Team Leader, you'll motivate the team, delegate tasks, and actively participate in daily operations to help our stores deliver excellent results and uphold high standards.

You’ll be at the forefront of our business, leading by example to inspire your team to engage and share ideas, ensuring your store remains welcoming and efficient for our customers. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing produce freshness, inventory, stock, and cash processes.
  2. Monitoring dates and prices, minimizing stock loss, and ensuring reductions are visible.
  3. Performing stock takes and gap checks for stock control.
  4. Supporting colleagues with people management activities, such as holiday requests and scheduling, alongside the Store Manager.
  5. Traveling to support sites in the local area when needed (preferred).

As a keyholder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring safety and security at all times. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

  • Have previous experience leading a sizable team (training will be provided if not).

  • Can help us achieve our purpose by being inspiring, helpful, and trustworthy.

You must be over 18 years old to authorise age-related sales.
