Job summary

BaxterStorey UK is seeking staff to prepare and serve food and beverages, maintain hygiene, and support stock control across sites. You will help set up dining areas and provide friendly customer service, while processing payments and collaborating with kitchen and FOH teams.

Flexible shifts, weekend work, and travel between locations may be required. This is an on-site hospitality role in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Strong people skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Excellent time keeping and reliability.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Valid driving license and access to own transport.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Basic numeracy skills for till operation and stock management.
• Teamwork and collaborative approach to work.
• Desirable: Experience with stock management systems or point-of-sale technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of food prep and serving areas.
• Assist with stock management including receiving, storing and rotation.
• Support setup and breakdown of dining areas and service stations.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and respond to queries.
• Operate till systems and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service.
• Monitor stock levels and equipment maintenance needs.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies.
• Cover shifts across multiple locations as required.
