Aramark UK is hiring a Food Service Assistant for the HMP Bullingdon Staff Canteen in Bicester. Join a team focused on customer service, food preparation, and secure environment operations with family-friendly hours.

Role includes supervising Enhanced Prisoners, operating tills, serving food and drinks, and maintaining safety and hygiene standards while supporting colleagues and new starters.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of the staff canteen.
• Assist with food preparation and service.
• Supervise and support Enhanced Prisoners within the catering operation.
• Operate tills and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Prepare and serve drinks and food.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Support stock takes and stock control activities.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are completed and standards maintained.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues and new starters.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times.
• Complete relevant records and operational paperwork.

We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at HMP
Bullingdon Staff Canteen, Bicester, OX26 1PZ. This is a fantastic opportunity for a

What you'll be doing

Additional Information

• Applicants must have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidates must be able to pass full prison vetting and DBS checks before commencing employment.
• Ability to work within a custodial environment and follow all security procedures is essential.
