Job summary

Aramark UK in Cambridge is recruiting a General Assistant to support front and back of house operations in a busy catering environment, delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining high standards throughout the site.

You will assist with setup and close-down, handle basic food preparation, receive deliveries, and help ensure stock is stored correctly while abiding by food hygiene and safety procedures.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team in Cambridge, CB3 0ET. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to work within a busy catering environment, supporting both front and back of house operations.
Job Description
As a General Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the daily
operation of the catering service, ensuring customers receive excellent service while
helping maintain high standards throughout the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting both front and back of house service and operations
• Assisting with the set-up and close-down of the business each day
• Providing excellent customer service to customers and visitors
• Undertaking basic food preparation duties
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly
• Supporting food service during busy periods
