Job summary

Sainsbury's in Tonbridge is seeking an experienced in-store leader to drive high standards across the food hall. You will coach teams, uphold store processes and ensure excellent customer service, stock availability and compliant operations.

The role requires strong people leadership, performance management and the ability to run the store when required, delivering for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others to raise standards.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to manage performance, absence and employee relations with fairness.

Responsibilities

• Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the food hall.
• Managing compliance to processes while delivering great shopkeeping and customer service.
• Ensure customers get the products they want and maintain stock availability.
• Oversee scheduling, performance management and payroll accuracy.
• Occasionally run the store and provide direction to the team.
